(1986. US 1 hr, 45 min. Directed by John Landis. PG.) The Grand continues its 80th birthday year of monthly screenings of beloved eighties movies with one of the silliest Westerns ever made- "Three Amigos!" Sponsored by The Mex. Three silent movie actors known as the "Three Amigos" (Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short) travel to a small Mexican town for what they think is a public appearance in this mild comedy. Instead, they realize they have been mistaken for their screen characters, where the townspeople ask them to help fight an evil bandit. Find out if the outgunned, outmanned and outwitted Amigos triumph over evil- and it's only 80 cents a ticket! The film co-stars Joe Mantegna, Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, Alfonso Arau and Tony Plana with songs by co-writer Randy Newman.
