Singer/songwriter Noel Paul Stookey has been altering both the musical and ethical landscape of this country and the world for decades—both as the “Paul” of the legendary Peter, Paul and Mary and as an independent musician who passionately believes in bringing the spiritual into the practice of daily life.

Americans Who Tell the Truth (AWTT) is honored to present Noel Paul Stookey as its next Truth Teller. Stookey’s portrait will join the over 270+ portraits and narratives of courageous citizens that AWTT uses  to inform students and communities through school programs, conferences and exhibits that a profound understanding of citizenship is the only safeguard of democracy and the best defense of social, racial, economic, and environmental justice. Just as Paul Noel Stookey's music does, AWTT hopes to inspire and motivate all to act with the courage to increase the quotient of justice, equality, peace and inclusive joy in the world.
