 The
Band is composed of 35 members and performs an
average of forty engagements per
year and is heard by over a
million and a half people annually.
The
band performs a wide variety
of musical styles, which include: Jazz,
Popular, Classical and Martial
music. The band takes pride in its ability
to satisfy the musical tastes of the
general public.
The
band’s personnel are all part-time
military people who, in civilian
life, pursue a wide variety of
careers. From its commission during
the Second World War to the present,
the Air National Guard Band of
the Northeast has established a
tradition of musical excellence,
which proudly represents both United
States Air Force and the
Massachusetts Air National Guard.
