Everybody Loves Pirates is the story of a young girl named Lucy and her goofy friend, Little Chucky. While fishing one day, the kids discover a treasure map and decide to set out on a quest to find their fortune.
Unfortunately, they run into a group of bumbling pirates who try to thwart their efforts by stealing the treasure. Of course, it all works out in the end with some help from Chucky and Lucy’s new ocean-dwelling friends, including Lobster Boy, Crabby, and a wise Sea Monkey.
Everybody Loves Pirates features a cast of 15 of our hand-made mouth and rod puppets, a few musical highlights, and lots of high sea adventure. After the performance: a short puppet demo – talk about the makings of puppets, the props etc., as well as, a glimpse “behind the curtain”, and a Q & A time.

The fabulous brothers from Bangor sing songs from their new album Love Songs For Silly Things!
They have been wowing fans and critics alike with their song “One wasn’t Enough” which won the John Lennon Song writing Contest’s children’s category! Last year they won a 2008 Children’s Web Music Award! The future is looking up!
Their songs range from doo-wop and r&b, to surf rock, to folk inspired songs. Dan Flannery, when not cranking out music, also helps out with the Maine Discovery Museum, as well as working at The Fisher Farm in Winterport which may be a source of inspiration, judging from these song titles: “Broccoli Yet”, “Rutabaga” and “Farmers Market”! Get ready for fun!

Miller & Wilson’s Theater of Marvels is a modern interpretation of a Victorian Orientalist magic show. At the close of the 19th century, people of the West were fascinated with the mysterious East. Western explorers returned with tales of impossible feats, and soon a few Western wonder-workers began to duplicate them.
Professor Miller and Dr. Wilson present exotic magic from around the world, from Professor Miller’s award-winning performance of the Chinese Rings to Dr. Wilson’s chilling interpretation of the Ladder of Swords, a traditional feat of Buddhist transcendence.
The duo first began collaborating in 2005, framing a show for the first Worldwide Escape Artist Relay. Since then, they have performed throughout New England and beyond, bringing the wonder and strangeness of their art to the stage.
