The Grand Theater is seeking a full charge part-time bookkeeper with 2-5 yrs experience in non-profit accounting, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office. Must have solid understanding of accounting principals, proven ability to post and manage financial records, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Approx 20 hrs/wk.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain chart of accounts
Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions
Oversight and entry of accounts payable and receivables
Enter payroll data provided by outside payroll service
Reconcile loan and bank statements
Reconcile 941 and other periodic payroll reports to G/L
Reconcile box office and donor database to G/L
Reconcile artist settlement reports to G/L
Reconcile periodic payroll reports to the G/L
Reconcile box office report to the deposits and credit card deposits
Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance
Coordinate monthly financial close process
Provide financial reports monthly as well as upon request
Monitor cash balances
Monitor use of restricted funds and track grant expenses
Work with accountant to gather data and documents needed to prepare tax return
Quarterly Sales Tax Prep and filing
Maintain filing system
