The Memphis Belles - Darlene Mogul, Pat Cummings, and Penny Weinstein began performing together December 31, 1990 at a New Year’s Eve benefit for the American Red Cross.  The theme of the show was a WWII U.S.O. show.  The women were cast to form an Andrews Sisters style trio to be called The Memphis Belles in honor of the B-17 Bomber which had originally been stationed at Dow Air Force Base in Bangor before being put into active service in…
